This Pipe Organs of Youghal was also awarded the Doras Abœ award for July 30th, 1998.

This week's Doras Abú heads to Youghal, Co. Cork and to pipe organ enthusiast, Jonathan P. Neville. The site, which is part of Neville's overall Youghal online project, is dedicated to three different types of pipe organ located at three separate churches in this walled seaport town.
Midi files embedded in various areas of the site allow you to hear the sounds of these organs and also some hymns and choral music. Meanwhile a guest book and links to sites of particular relevance allow you to meet others who share an interest in Pipe Organs and their music.
In terms of style and graphic design, The Pipe Organs of Youghal is an elegant and easily navigable site. Subtle use of modern programming enhances the site, while the writing style remains personal and intelligible.
