Youghal now operates a disc-parking system on most of the main streets.
The discs are available from almost every shop/business on those streets.
There are, of course, plenty free parking areas besides, and these are
indicated on the map below.
Instructions
- On arrival, indicate year, month, day, hour and minute (to nearest
5 minutes), scratching off appropriate panels and display the disc an
the inside of the driver's window
- Unless otherwise indicated the maximum parking time is two hours
- On expiry of the maximum parking time allowed, the vehicle must be
removed and not parked on the same street for at least one hour
- Un-expired time may be used at other disc parking places (but not
within one hour on the same street)
- You may display the disc before parking restrictions begin - indicating
restriction commencement time in advance
